Greg founded Lord Wellington Investments as a full-service independent financial planning firm. It was Greg’s vision to create a one-stop financial center that coordinated all of a client’s tax, financial, and retirement needs under one roof.
Greg graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1984. In addition, Greg passed multiple rigorous exams to receive the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter from The American College in 2007.
Subsequent to his college graduation, Greg worked for several public accounting firms in Louisiana and North Carolina. Prior to starting his own public accounting practice, Greg worked in the management group at KPMG Peat Marwick in Greensboro, North Carolina where he specialized in financial institutions.
Greg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Hope Kennedy, Vice President of Administration
Hope serves as vice president of administration for Lord Wellington Investments. Hope coordinates all functions of client administration and serves as the Company’s liaison with all governmental entities. Hope graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1988.
McKenzie Knippers, Marketing Coordinator
McKenzie serves as marketing coordinator for Lord Wellington Investments. McKenzie’s role brings her into contact with all clients on a routine basis as she is tasked with assisting in various financial areas of the firm. McKenzie graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2012.
